Creative Instrumentation Limited has been involved in the construction and development of high temperature capacitive sensors for the Gas Turbine Industry for more than 10 years.
The sensors are manufactured and assembled in-house which reduces both cost and delivery lead times. The latest generation of sensors have recently completed an extensive development and testing programme and are now available on a worldwide basis.
FYLDE ELECTRONIC LABORATORIES LIMITED
We have partnered with Fylde Electronic laboratories Limited who supply the signal conditioning electronics that are used with the sensors to measure blade tip clearance, rotational speed and blade vibration on both power generation and aerospace gas turbine engines.
STANDARD RANGE OF SENSORS
We provide a standard range of sensors for compressor applications up to 800°C and turbine applications up to 1400°C.
All sensors carry a 3 year operational warranty including 500 cycles from room temperature to maximum operating temperatures.
SENSOR CONSTRUCTION
The sensors are 100% hermetic and provide excellent electrical characteristics at maximum operating conditions to ensure maximum measurement accuracy and repeatability. A test report showing the results from a 500 cycle turbine sensor temperature test are available on request.
